Roaming Textiles is a collective dedicated to the ethical trade of traditional Peruvian textiles and the preservation of indigenous cultural heritage based in Peru, near the foothills of the Andes mountains. We work directly with native weaving communities of the Peruvian highlands to offer handmade textiles and crafts created in a natural setting using ancestral techniques with an emphasis on authenticity and cultural integrity.
All our products are made with a commitment to ecological responsibility through environmentally sustainable methods, and we also have a strong dedication to fair trading practices which we achieve by maintaining a close working relationship with the communities that produce our products, so each piece we sell, whether new or vintage, is of known origin and acquired through ethical means.
The history and heritage of the artisans with whom we collaborate is woven into each thread of the works we sell, and with your support you will help to save an endangered way of life by providing indigenous artisans with a means to support their families through their cultural legacy.
